Outer short is comfortable with a little stretch. Appears durable. Like the adjustable waist. The liner is incredibly short in length. The pad looks good but I cannot wear the liner.The material is nice and stretchy. The pad is decent. Though the velcro snagged my new jersey. It kept doing so even when I repositioned the straps. So I took off the velcro and just sowed the straps back on.Did not expect having to due so for a 90 dollar pair of shorts but did not have the time send it back. I need a pair so I made it work.These are great bike shorts. You can wear them with the padded liner shorts or without. Inserting the liners is super easy--two snaps hold it in place. My husband and I both wore just the shorts on our trip to Ireland. The outer shorts are super lightweight and wash up easily. Don't put them in the dryer though.
