doTERRA Sandalwood (Indian) Essential Oil 5 mL - 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade for Aromatherapy, Meditation & Skin Care

Arrived quickly, which was great! The box was VERY big for one small bottle of oil, but that was ok. The annoying part was how hard the oil was to get out of the bubble wrap that was wrapped around the bottle. There was SO much tape on it. Once I finally got into the bubble wrap, there was a huge sticker on the bottle. The sticker was hard to read, I'm not even really sure what it was. Return info? There were no other papers in the box. That seemed odd. No receipt or shipping/return info, company info...nothing. Was difficult to get the sticker off the bottle as well. Kept tearing. Finally used a razor and lemon essential oil to get the white sticker off. To finally reveal the actual doterra label.This was my first time buying Sandalwood from doTERRA. I was slightly disappointed only in the fact that it is so pricey and it smells exactly the same as another (and much less expensive) brand. I typically notice a difference when purchasing doTERRA vs a less expensive brand. I probably wouldn't spend the extra money for the doTERRA Sandalwood next time.It hardly has scent, I really am not impressed. I am not sure that I will buy essential oils on Amazon anymore, and it is so easy to adulterate them (dilute or add carrier oil). Yes they do have sealed caps that have a ring (like on a water bottle) so you can see if it is unbroken. However, I have purchased those caps and can reseal the bottles after opening. It leaves me unsettled. I have had other oils that the first one smelled different than the first. It is a little discouraging to think you are purchasing the pure oil but not quite sure. I think it is safer to purchase directly from Doterra in future.This product is great we love it.Not a strong scent to this oil, I meant to order the Hawaiian Sandalwood but my mistake. I haven't had the Indian Sandalwood before so guess it adds to collection. But. This hardly has much of a scent, too mild for much of any use. Maybe ok for the tropical uses since scent barely noticeable. I inhailed both upon arrival and 12 hours later to give it time to settle,Bottle is correctly sealed, if this is suppose to have stronger scent, maybe storage wasn't well and exposed to heat/light too much.I like this one! It's very warm & sensual. It's very thick too, so it takes a while to come out, be patient. I believe it's Australian sandalwood though. One day, I want to have true Indian sandalwood.Extremely in love with scent, the oil smells original with premium quality. Every one who smell it, got hooked and liked it.Essential Oils have changed my life.... this was a gift for my daughter who first introduced me to a clean lifestyle.
